Mumbai, Pune, Vadodara
This trip was my first to India and I saw my kaka (dad’s brother) get married.
We started in Mumbai, where I took my first steps! Next, we headed to Pune to take part in my kaka’s wedding with lots of good food (milk), dancing, and family (I stole the thunder as the newest member of the Chhaya family). I also got carried to the top of Chaturshringi temple, which is a temple with a rich history. After a pit stop back in Mumbai, we hit Vadodara to be shown off to my mom’s side. We checked out Ajwa Lake and Nimeta, a village with huge gardens, before heading back to Mumbai to fly back out.
Unfortunately, I was 18 months old at the time, so here is what I thought about it.
